Pre-Authorized Checking (PAC) Instructions
1. Read the terms of the agreement.
2. Complete the Authorization Agreement.
3. Sign and date the Authorization Agreement.
4. Enclose a Voided check.
5. Return to our office at 1070 Shoreline Drive, Gulf Breeze, FL or mail
to the City of Gulf Breeze, Finance Dept., P.O. Box 640, Gulf Breeze,

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How does it work?
A: With Pre-Authorized Checking (PAC), you will continue to receive
a monthly bill. On approximately the 10th of each month, the amount due
will be deducted from your bank account. There's nothing to remember or
worry about. Your bill is paid automatically and on time. This draft program
makes paying your utility bill simple and convenient. Perfect for seniors
and people on the go!
Q: Who can join?
A: Your financial institution must be a member of the National
Automated Clearing House Association in order for you to participate in
Pre-Authorized Checking (PAC)
Q: How do I sign up?
A: Be sure to read the Authorization Agreement for Pre-Authorized
Checking. Fill out the Agreement form, attach a voided check and return
it to us. We will return a copy of the signed agreement and tell you when
the automatic draft will begin.
Q: How will I know how much money will be drafted from my account?
A: The City of Gulf Breeze will mail your utility bill as usual.
The bill will be mailed 10 days before the money is drafted from your
bank account. Be sure to deduct the amount from your
bank book balance.
Q: What if I move or change banks?
A: You should inform our office. The bank draft is good for only
one bank account. You will have to sign a new bank draft agreement if
you change banks.
Q: May I stop participating in this plan?
A: You should notify us in writing that you no longer wish to participate.
Be sure to include your account number as it is shown on your utility
bill.
Q: What if I have questions about my bill?
A: You can call us at (850) 934-5110, Monday through Friday, 8:00
a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
