Residential Garbage Collection rates
(Inside City Limits Only)

Services:
Monday & Thursday or Tuesday & Friday household waste collection by kart; (varies by address, when you establish service they will let you know which days)
Monday or Tuesday curbside recyclables collection; Wednesday yard waste collection (up to 5 bags, bins or bundles of vegetation of reasonable weights and no longer that 4 feet).

Kart, recyclable bin and yard waste should be no more than three feet from the street by 7am of collection day.

Optional service:
- Second cart (rate doubles)
- Sideyard collection

Commercial customers must contact Allied Waste at (850) 433-7425 for type of service and rate.

Other Household Disposal

The City operates a transfer station for the convenience of City residents located just south of the intersection of Shoreline Drive and South Sunset. Hours are 7am to 4pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Excess yard waste, tree limbs, trunks and stumps, non-hazardous construction scraps, old furniture, appliances, etc may be brought there for disposal. A fee is charged to cover transportation and disposal costs from the transfer station. There are also containers there for recyclable deposit (cardboard, plastic, glass).

You should NOT direct or expect home contractors or landscapers to be able to benefit from the transfer station convenience. The City does not offer large item pickup service. Many furniture and appliance retailers will dispose of your old furniture or appliance for free when they deliver the new one.
