The Gulf Breeze Fishing Bridge is a recreational attraction open to all
persons for a small admission charge. The Fishing Bridge has a reputation
as having more and bigger fish than any other in the area.
Facility operations:
- Open and staffed 24 Hours a day, seven days a week, March through
November.
- Open and staffed 12 Hours a day, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., seven days a week,
December through February.
- Admission is $2.00 per person plus $1.50 per vehicle (limited to
cars, pickup trucks, and vans: no motor homes).
- There is no charge for children thirteen and under.
- Drive your car onto bridge.
- Tickets are good midnight to midnight, March through November.
- No fishing licence required.
Facilities include:
- Approximately 1-1/2 miles of fishing bridge.
- 6 artificial reefs to attract fish.
- Cold beverages and snacks are available from vending machines located
in tool booth.
- Restrooms on bridge.
- Adjacent picnic area with sheltered tables.
- Bait, snacks, and ice are available from vendors who are permitted
to sell their wares from trucks or vans on the bridge. Vendors service
the bridge every day during the busy season and weekends only during
the off-season. In addition there are two bait shops located on U.S.
98 in the City of Gulf Breeze.
